Statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expresses its deep thanks and appreciation to the Government of National Unity in the sisterly State of Libya for its decision to exempt citizens of the Syrian Arab Republic residing in Libya from paying fees or fines due to regularize their residency status until December 31, 2025.

The Ministry affirms that this step reflects the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, and constitutes significant support for the Syrian community in Libya, facilitating their residence and transactions.
