Syria’s FM Receives NRC Chief to Enhance Humanitarian Coordination

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, received in Damascus the Secretary-General of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Mr. Jan Egeland.

The discussions during the meeting focused on ways to enhance cooperation in humanitarian and relief sectors. The two sides reaffirmed the importance of coordinating with international organizations, in line with respect for Syria’s sovereignty and national legislation.
