Minister Al-Shaibani Receives Credentials of Canadian Ambassador and Discusses Bilateral Relations

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, received in the capital, Damascus, Mr. Gregory Galligan, Ambassador of Canada to the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Shaibani received Ambassador Galligan’s credentials as non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Syria. The discussions touched upon bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, in addition to an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
