Achievements of the Technical Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Libya Over the Past 72 Hours

The technical delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Libya has continued its intensive work to provide services to Syrian citizens and to facilitate their return to the homeland.

During the past 72 hours, the delegation achieved the following:

• Settled the status of 22 detainees held in illegal immigration centers.

• Extended 20,000 passports for Syrian citizens residing in Libya.

• Issued 4,100 laissez-passer documents to citizens wishing to return to the Syrian Arab Republic.

• Completed 1,000 civil status document authentication procedures.

• Finalized the procedures for repatriating the bodies of two citizens to the Syrian Arab Republic.
